Anna Kournikova helps Katrina victims

Filed under: Health & Safety: Babies, Media

From People.com: Anna Kournikova recently visited Hurricane Katrina victims in Biloxi, Mississippi, on behalf of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of America. The tennis star brought toys to the children, and was apparently moved by what she witnessed. In her trip diary that she shared with People, she mused, "Mississippi seems to have been lost in all of the chaos surrounding New Orleans, but I can tell you that the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast have not lost their spirit. They have rallied around each other to bring back their communities stronger than ever."

Always good to hear when celebrities get involved and give back to communities which support them.
