Firefly emergency cellphone for kids

Partner-in-crime Engadget has the scoop on the Firefly emergency cellphone for kids.  This little piece of technology is meant for younger kids in the event they need mom/dad or (gasp) the police.  I'm not sure how I feel about an easy 911 button for kids to hit by mistake as the phone dangles from their backpack (hook included).  There must be a safety feature I didn't read about, but it still won't stop this situation:

"Hello?  911?  Yeah, Billy just punched me and took my lunch money.  Arrest him!"

I was going to ask Suncom for a review unit to write about, but they don't claim service for my area (Boston).
