First the belly, now the birth on the auction block
Categories: Pregnancy & Birth, Money & Work
When we last saw Amber Rainey, she was
auctioning off her pregnant belly - for which she
ended up getting $4,050 from Golden Palace (and a
bonus: trip to the Super Bowl to display the ad). Now she's selling ad space for the entire labor and delivery
process. At last check bidding for the
eBay
auction was over $5,000, and it ends tomorrow morning at 10:10 a.m. Pacific.
Amber's family will wear apparel with the winning company's logo, and display magnetic signage on the car transporting her to and from the hospital. She'd like the actual birth to be private, though - she thinks. Maybe for the right price?
The baby boy is due March 21, and Amber is leaning towards the name "Parker."
