Baby having his brain tested

According to a lengthy new article in Newsweek, science has moved beyond William James' description of a young child's mind as "a blooming, buzzing confusion". Using modern tests, researchers are learning that infants and toddlers master complex feelings such as frustration and jealousy - often before they've even uttered their first word. The object of such research is to give medical professionals the tools to diagnose conditions from depression to autism as early as three months into a child's life, giving parents ample time to take corrective measures. Does this mean we'll be seeing Prozac in infant liquid suspension form in our lifetime?
