Nicholas Cage and wife welcome baby boy

Actor Nicholas Cage and his wife Alice Kim Cage welcomed a son into the world today, according to E! Online. The baby boy is named Kal-el Coppola Cage, which has caused the media to dub him "Super" baby. He shares a name with the fictional character Superman, whose original Krypton name was Kal-el (yeah, I've been known to watch a Smallville episode or two). No other details about the baby were released. "They are healthy and happy and it's quite lovely," said Cage's publicist in a statement. This is the first child for Alice, 21, and the second child for Cage, who has a 14-year-old son.
