Painted belly competition - and winners

Despite my artsy nature and my general love of all things belly, I never painted my tummy when I was pregnant. Maybe if I'd had a contest to spur me on, like this cute one from Babytalk magazine. The winner was Karen Meagher, of San Marcos, Calif. Her hubbie's patience and dedication behind the wide grin on her belly. And cute idea with the sunglasses, Mr. Meagher! (Could the eyebrows have been an excuse to, umm, paint her breasts?) Other finalists painted their belly with baseballs, fishbowls, Easter eggs and one cute giant stork. Via crazedparent, who says: "but to be pregnant and have your belly look cute? Instead of looking like a bloated beached-whale? Some gals have all the luck."
