Katie Holmes' pregnancy bump "very visible"

katie holmes bump In recent photos, Katie Holmes is showing off a well-rounded baby bump and sporting a popped-out belly button. This is leading to speculation that she is quite far along in her pregnancy. No official word from TomKat on when their kitten is due, but a parent who saw the couple recently told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper that Katie "had a very considerable bump, and you could see her belly button through her floaty top. To me she looked more like a girl who was five months pregnant than three." According the National Ledger article which reports this story, "If she does still have six months of her term left to go, she is going to be as big as a house by the time the baby arrives." I guess she is just that much closer to her silent birth. What do you think? Three months? Or five?

I saw this photo and before I read anything thought: "five months belly approaching!" if that's three she's either bearing triplets or on her fifth pregnancy (when you'd show a lot sooner, I guess)

Oh, she is 5 months if she is a day, because she started out so small to begin with. This explains a lot. Oops!

Everyone carries differently. Maybe she is 3 months, maybe she is having twins, maybe she is 5 months. Who cares that is between her and Tom.

I know with both my pregnancies I was huge. I was asked often if I was having twins. I started out skinny and so it showed faster. She is having a normal pregnancy not a hollywood pregnancy where they don't get fat or gain more the 10 lbs.

Yup, she's definately 5mths, unless she's secretly previously birthed a child. (My sis is as big as I was at 8mths right now at 6mths with her second)

LEAVE THEM ALONE. WHO CARES WHEN SHE GOT PREGNANT! SHE IS A GROWN WOMAN, HAPPY AND IN LOVE, WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL??? AGE DOESN'T MATTER, ALL THAT MATTERS IS IF THEY ARE IN LOVE AND ARE HAPPY AND THAT THEY GIVE THEIR BABY ALL THE LOVE AND ATTENTION THAT IT DESERVES. EVERYONE IS SO QUICK TO JUDGE AND PUT OTHERS DOWN, AND THAT IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WORLD TODAY, EVERYONE IS TOO JUDGEMENTAL!

I think that she looks beautiful... and they look beautiful together - and they will have a darling little baby in a few months and will live happily together for as long as they can.

Since everyone knows movie stars don't stay together, unfortunately. It's sad, but true. More sad.

She must have been hiding out for the last couple months, or wearing extremely boxy clothes. A belly like that does not just sprout overnight.

Media, with their close attention to any tiny sign of plastic surgery, weight fluctuation, and most especially pregnancy, (look what they did to Demi Moore for months!), sure didn't see this one coming.

Seeing the picture confirms it for me at least, that the whole relationship is fake.. I think Tom wanted a baby so he got the first young girl who would agree pregnant. If they started dating in April (since she split with Chris in March) that is 6 months and she looks like she is 5 months meaning she was knocked up way before the engagement.. I can't believe someone as smart as her would do this for publicity sake..

who cares if she is on her 3rd or 5th month?! I mean each and every woman is different from the next... so, she's big?! I say more power to her... And may they both have a VERY healthy baby...

I am never, ever star-struck. Somehow, Kati and Tom are apart from the rest. They both "glow" when they are together....like they have a secret that no one else knows about (like the pregnancy...duh)...I feel that these two are very well suited. Everyone should just congratulate them! It's rare that we find our soul-mate. This baby will have a bright future, with two parents that are so solid and in-love.

she is so thin to begin with, it's possible that three months just shows like 5 on a frame like that. i guess when you're rich and famous no-one cares if you're getting married because you're pregnant (did they not call these shotgun weddings before?). they will be able to hire-out every potential relationship wrecking incident (night nanny and day nanny so they can still go for motorcycle rides on the beach!).

I think that Tom has a nerve. First he acts like a total fool, then he preaches to all of us on how smart he is and we are all dumb. Katie preached on her virginity until marriage - then they get pregnant one month after they meet? They are such phonies. The only thing I hope for is that Katie gets post partem depression and needs meds for it.

I hope Tom and Katie the best. I don't feel right with their relationship, but you know it is their life. A silent birth is not that bad. I am not in their religion, but I had my kids no drugs, in silence. Oh yeah by the way, anyone who judges will be judged one day! And as for postpartum, I do not wish that on anyone. I had it and took no drugs and I am perfectly fine. I hope you get what you deserve, Sympathy Pains and what not for her.

I have to say, this whole thing is a little creepy to me. Tom acting like a psycho, Katie like a lovesick schoolgirl, it's just too weird. On the other hand, I think Katie is one of the loveliest pregnant women I've seen. As to the debate about how far along she is, I'd say it could go either way, but she was freakin' skinny to begin with, so it's harder to hide that baby belly. I agree that there's more going on than the public is privy to, like some huge charade. But hey, everyone gets to make their own choices, and I hope they're as happy as they claim to be.

The belly looks fake. Sorry, but I have seen pictures of her all during the movie premieres through the summer etc., and you just don't show up with a belly like that and nobody noticed. She is probably only a few months along this is just to make the photos more dramatic. Definitely Mr. Cruise wants to work the cameras

I was extremely thin (123 lbs & 5 foot 7) when I got pg with my triplets, and I STILL didn't look that big at 12 weeks/3 months! So the whole "she's so skinny that it must show earlier" explanation isn't true. I think she's about 5 or 6 months along for the size of her belly in those pictures. I guess this explains Tom's excitement on the Oprah show! *LOL*

She looks more like 5 months. At three months, the uterus is barely creeping up towards your belly button (it's still only an inch or two above your pelvic bone at this point) so no matter how skinny you are, your belly wouldn't be sticking out that far. I'm 6 months pregnant and before pregnancy I was pretty thin. I didn't start showing until 4-5 months and even then, it was easy to hide. This is my first pregnancy (like Katie's) so based on how my body is currently growing, I'd say she's somewhere around 5 months in this picture. She looks great doesn't she??

For those who say "you don't just get big overnight"...you're right but again, it's easy to hide with a cute shirt. Until about a month ago, it was hard to tell I was pregnant unless you were me or my husband who see my belly on a regular basis (so we could see the changes) It seems like now, I am sprouting like crazy and it's easy to see....thus the same could be true for Katie. Also, wearing black can conceal a little belly...besides, it wasn't like she was out in the public a lot in September or October (her 4th/5th month if we are correct).

I am personally thrilled for her and Tom and wish them the best. Being pregnant myself, it's fun to see how she's doing and it feels like I can relate!

She's either at least 5 months or carrying twins (I think it may be twins but who knows!) I was close to katie's size when I got pregnant and I'm 3 months right now...nothing there but a tiny pooch underneath my belly button. I'm still in my regular jeans! During the begining of a first pregnancy it's super easy to hide. Especially if you're in shape. Now way (unless it's twins) is she that big at 3 months! She does look beautiful pregnant though!

And for those of you all ticked off about the speculation...chill! No one's judging it's just fun to make guesses.
