I really don't mean to be picky but why do people say that the woman "gives birth to the father's child", as though she is mearly the instrument of delivery?
Sorry, this has always really bugged me and seems to be done quite often when speaking of celebrities.

The simple (and stupid, I admit) answer in my case is that I wanted to get both celebrities' names in the title for Google search engines.
That is it. And I was trying to vary it a bit from the usual, Michelle Williams and Heith Ledger welcome baby girl, etc.
No offense intended.
