It's the day after Halloween! Let's take a look at what's happening on the parenting blogs.

• The Giving Tree is making Amalah cry, realizing she's the tree in this scenario and she'll be stripped clean as Noah grows and moves away, and she'll be happy as long as he is happy.

• Angela at Fluid Pudding's Harper sends along my favorite of all the blog world's halloween greetings. There's something about a baby calling people 'Jerkies' that warms my heart.

• Julie at Mom in the Mirror got what she wished for by skipping Halloween, and then found she didn't actually like it all that much.

• Kelly at Blogging: McCord Style covers the story of a small nursing clothing company being sued by Hershey Co. (We also covered it this week.) Kelly, though, has a different perspective, since her dear friend is co-owner of the company.

• Julia welcomed home an edible and somewhat questionable piece of Halloween art from Patrick's preschool. It's a Twinkie! Of course it is!
