Garnerwatch: Jennifer Garner's baby brought to you by…Starbucks??
Filed under: Your Pregnancy, Health & Safety: Babies, Media
Welcome to the latest installment of Garnerwatch - otherwise known as "Geez, Jennifer, haven't you had that damn
baby yet?!" No news today on when the Alias star is going to pop, but we did run across this humorous diddy that Garner
and husband Ben Affleck are fending off accusations that the pregnancy is being underwritten by Starbucks. Affleck's
representative rubbished the reports, saying that the couple had no deal with the coffee chain to drink their product
whenever they're out in public.
Well, duh. It's Starbucks. Do you know how much CAFFEINE is in those drinks? A Venti latte has enough motor
power to resurrect the dead. Try this nifty experiment: drink Starbucks for a week, then try switching to drip coffee
again. Result? A splitting headache that will leave you begging God that your death be quick and painless. You expect
Jennifer to cope with a caffeine withdrawal headache on top of everything else she's dealing with this late in the
game?
God, the media can be so insensitive.

Jessica said...Hang on - Starbucks makes drinks without caffeine. Unless you look at the cup very closely, you'd never know. Having been a coffee addict myself, I subtly made the switch myself a few months ago. So far no one has noticed. I sure could use the energy kick...
