Make-your-own pregnant celebrity: nominate a blogger to be our celebrity

We've been going on, and on, and on about
pregnant celebrities. But this is a blog - where we care about real people. Like you guys! So here's the deal: we're
going to pick one of you, a real pregnant person who is not currently famous, to be our next pregnant celebrity.
We'll follow your pregnancy, we'll obsess over your name choice (fruits or flowers = all the better), we'll wonder if you've been drinking decaf or regular Starbucks. (Oh, you'd better like Starbucks - all pregnant celebs do, ya know.) We'll send a photographer to your baby shower and obsess over every gift (well, if you live near any of our writers). When it gets time for you to give birth, we'll hound you for details. And when you do, it will be breaking news. Update: Isabel Kallman from the Alpha Mom Network has offered to produce a video of the celebrity when all's said and done from her home video. Here are the requirements:

must be near the end of your first trimester, that's when celebs announce (let's say, between nine and 16 weeks)
-
must obfuscate your due date, like all other pregnant celebs
-
must like to have photos taken of you
-
first pregnancies nice, but not required

(If you nominate your friend, you might want to check with her first…) We'll let our readers vote to pick our homemade pregnant celebrity. Nomination deadline is Tuesday, December 6, and we'll open the voting on Wednesday.

if don't mind that she's in her in the later part of her pregnancy instead of the end of your first trimester, please have Secret Agent Josephine!!!

I would nominate my wife, Katrina, who is having our first baby sometime in umm...2006. She just finished her first trimester, loves Starbucks (and is dying not having any, she says decaf is for wimps) I can supply pictures if needed for proof. BTW, its a girl...

technically, Secret Agent Josephine is too far along - so she doesn't qualify. don't worry, though, she's ALREADY a celebrity, to us.

I am 8 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am having a more difficult time with this pregnancy and constantly sick. I hope this fades away soon. I have a son and hope this child is a girl (God willing). If not I hope and pray this child is healthy. I am very anxious to have this bundle of joy in my arms.

I would love my wife to be your pregnant celebrity! She's due at the end March with our 2nd little girl. She's already 5 months along and has a belly to prove it. She started off at 95lbs. and has now reached a large 105lbs. She's a waitress at Sullivan's Steakhouse and works 8 hours on her feet, 5 nights a week. She's a trooper... only 22 and 2 kids. That's craziness.

My name is Richard. My fiance is 3 months today, it's our first baby. Starbucks rocks, She is 18, due approx. in June/July and will be 19 then. I think this sounds fun and to be honest she could use it right now, being broke, lol.. okay well, thanks.. lol

I would like to dominate my daughter. She's 20 and in her 6 month. This is her FIRST pregancy and gosh is she soo excited. I have had 4 and never was THAT excited as she is!! lol She's due March 14th and will be 21. I'm not quite understanding the fundementals of this but it sounds like fun, for her! She has soo many friends that are just taking care of her when I'm not around due to me working. Making sure she eats correctly and they DO keep her smiling and belive it or not.. she keeps them smiling MORE!! She is just sooo Happy and I'm so fasinated with her pregancy as she is!!! :) And I think this would be so excited for her. Wil teach her the excitement of life and the responsiblities of it, also.

I am a pregnancy portrait photographer in the Los Angeles area and have had my work featured and used as set design for several TV shows, including the wall portraits on "Inconceivable". I photograph maternity portraits and newborn baby portraits in my studio and if you pick a couple who lives in or is willing to come to L.A. area for a pregnant portrait session, I will gladly photograph the bestowed woman and her mate. Sounds like a fun contest.
