Sports helmet covers make safety fun
Filed under: Health & Safety: Babies
When I was a child only those crazy hippies from down the street made their kids wear seat belts, and even
they never made their kids wear helmets to ride their bikes or roller skate. Times have changed, we wrap our children
in bubble wrap to go to the grocery store. We don't smoke while pregnant or drive while drinking and we expect our kids
to wear helmets when they ride their bikes.
If they'd had these hilarious covers for sports helmets back then I may have begged my parents to let me wear
a helmet. They come in many styles which are sure to please your junior daredevil. An exposed brain, a spiked mohawk and a ferocious dinosaur are among the offerings. Then
for the more delicate flowers among us, a ladybug. At $24.95 they're a little pricey just
for a cover for a helmet, but then again what price safety? [link via BoingBoing]
