Well, it looks like the parenting blogworld is trying to get life back to the usual, after a weekend of Christmas revelry and excess. Turns out, trying to regain some sense of normalcy isn't exactly easy, as Tonya from Adventure Journalist: the notebook finds out, trying to get out of the Big Apple and back to Colorado (anyone know how to do laundry with frozen detergent?). Also Busy Mom is braving the malls with their after-Christmas crowds (she's a better man than me, I can tell you).

Still, some people manage: Christina of MyTopography is back to taking photographs of body parts, and the Bite My Cookie baby is back to ordering buffalo wings on her mom's BlackBerry.

And life moves on.
