Amazing Amanda: cute doll, or tool of Satan?

Hearing Mir tell it, my worst fears were confirmed -- apparently this thing is as creepy as it sounds. Although, to be honest, I wasn't expecting the chilling description of the cold, clammy skin.
*shudder*
I've suggested that she talk her daughter into giving Amanda a nice long bath. In about two feet of water.
During the exorcism.

I love the way Mir describes Amanda. She has pretty much captured the fear and loathing that my husband and I feel for the doll. She. Must. Be. Stopped.

She has a child that doesn't listen to her (Amanda only understands exact phrasing), she has a very needy child (When Amanda asked "Mommy, what she we do know?" my daughter answered with exasperation, "NOTHING.") and she runs around like crazy when Amanda announces she as to "go potty." The sweet irony is not lost on me!
