In bed by 10:00PM on New Year's Eve: I'm not the only one

We are sick as dogs here in the Butler household.
Well, the parents are. The girls are fine, albeit a little pissed off because they've been cooped up all day. I was in
bed by 10:00PM on New Year's Eve, but I took a quick trip around the blogosphere and discovered that I'm not the only
one. Gerah at Baby Poop and Business Suits was also horizontal when the
clock struck midnight. She left a comment on my
blog telling me that I wasn't alone. Beth who blogs So The Fish
Said was also snoozin' right along with me. How about you? Did your eyes (propped open by toothpicks?) stay open

I was in bed but not asleep at midnight on new years eve. I attempted to stay up till midnight but gave in at 11pm and went to bed, DD#2 (6 months old) then breastfed till 11.45ish when all the fireworks started and kept me awake till about half past midnight....so I was horizontal but awake...lol.

We barely made it but our youngest (10) didn't. At 11:30, she was asleep sitting up on the couch. I have a picture of her on the blog; she'll hate me when she's older.
She woke up as we were about to go to bed, drank of glass of sparkling cider, and was asleep again. She watched the ball drop on tape the next morning.
