Babysitters? Who needs 'em! Let's go to Vegas, baby!

Yes, it's another story of parents acting like
idiots from the tip line. (Thanks, Roger! ) Parents who left their two young children at home while they spent a
fun-filled, care-free New Year's weekend in Las Vegas face possible child endangerment charges. This story unfolds in
San Ramon, Calif., a suburb of San Francisco and comes to us via the San Francisco Chronicle. The boys, aged five and nine, are fine, and say it's not the first time mom and pop have left them alone for the weekend. The boys were discovered when their grandmother called them, discovered that they were alone, then called the police. The boys were found safe and unhurt, asleep in their beds. They had been living off of cereal and frozen food, and the gas fireplace was lit. San Ramon police Sgt. Brian Kalinowski said that the boys had been told, "not to answer the front door and to call their parents in case of an emergency." The younger boy has a medical condition that the police have declined to specify.
If only parenting required a license. I sure would like to personally revoke theirs.

Wow! Completely unbelievable! I heard the medical condition the younger boy suffers from is hatemyneglectfulparentitis; which in layman's terms is a condition wherein neglected children feel abandoned and endangered, leading to loathing hatred for thier parents. We all share the sentiments.

The younger boy is Autistic which both explains why they couldn't get a sitter AND makes their crime so much worse.

There are lots of parents out there that have children with Autism and they don't abandon them like that.
There must have been a grandparent that could have watched them.
