Mom? Dad? What are you doing? I was pretty happy, before this whole thing with
the nakedness, and these hot little shiny things, started. I was snuggled up in my favorite pair of jammies watching
all the excitement. First, this nice-smelling prickly green thing got brought in. Then, people were running around
getting out boxes. I kept sneezing. Those lights, they looked so pretty from across the room. But now? With all my
clothes offf? Don't even try to make me laugh! I'm pretty frustrated with you. I. Will. Not. Look. Awed.
I'm just MAD. Why can't you send out a card with a picture of some reindeer and let me snuggle up with my mama?

LB said...SOOO adorable but I'm sorry to say very unsafe. The vinyl coating on string lights likely has lead in it. The lights I use are labled against allowing children to use and suggest washing hands after handling-

The link sort of pooh poohs this issue but I think it's to risky to chance it. We live in an old house and the kids and I frequently get tested for lead. It's low (2ish) but several years ago year I tested in Jan and my level had doubled, we now think it was because of me doing all the Xmas lites.
