Is Katie Holmes faking her pregnancy?

How many of you think that Katie Holmes is really pregnant with Tom Cruise's baby? Me? I think their whole relationship is a publicity stunt, Katie's been rockin' a fake belly since the pregnancy was announced, and Tom is whack-job. I'm taking the "prove me wrong" stance regarding their partnership and pregnancy.

For those that agree that her pregnancy is one, big, creepy hoax, Tara, a Pink Is The New Blog reader, created a Katie Holmes photo timeline that just might prove us right. (Click the link to view the photos up close and personal.) The photos show Katie with alternately large and small bellies depending on the day. What do you think? Is it the cut of her clothes? The camera angle? How she's standing? Is Katie Holmes really pregnant? You be the judge.

Ok true when pregnant depending on what you wear will make you tummy look different. You can look like you are just a little cubby and then look really really pregnant.
But it is funny how in October her belly about the same size as it does now. I am 9 months pregnant now and I didnt start to really show until I was 6 months and then again it depending on what I wore.
The fact that most of her pictures show her holding one or more coffee cups in her hands might be a problem too. Coffee is not good when you are pregnant and can cause your baby to be born with lower weight. SO maybe thats why her belly isnt growing.
Oh and Tom buying that sonogram machine can also affect the babies weight too.

o.k. Here's something to think about. Not one of the pictures I've seen of her pregnant does she have a hand on or over her belly. And every pregnant woman knows, that it is almost instinctual to cover your stomach. Or at least rest your hand on it. It's kinda like a protective thing even before you have your baby. I don't know, I'm just saying, she's not ,cause she's not really pregnant.

Keep in mind her purchased the utrasound machine. If they were faking it that would make sense. It would explain why she is not making routine trips to the GYN. Maybe they are going to sneak a baby in and say it is their birthchild. Be highly suspicious if the baby is home birthed.

He's weird so you never know. No one in their right mind would go snowmobiling or ice skating when pregnant.

Wow, I can't believe all of the judgmental remarks here. Those photos are quite misleading - she's shot at different angles and depending on how she is standing, she either looks a little or a lot pregnant.

Let's just say that in one of those later photos her stomach is flatter - who's to say that she didn't have a miscarriage?

I am suspect for the following reasons 1. odd time lines and corresponding photos 2. home sonograms 3. Scientology. In order to not be one sided, I looked found the following (odd) website of an obsessed Katie Holmes loving papparazi. I'm not sure how she could be faking when you can see her skin:

for all you that think she is fakin look on this site and look at 2/1/06 when she is at Peet' coffee & tea. you can see in a couple pic that her belly is hanging out of her shirt so it kinda proves right there that she really is pregnant. http://gallery.katieholmes.com/index.php?cat=79

the whole thing could be fake... this is the rumor... tom cruise is gay and he's paying katie holmes millions of dollars to pretend she's in love. i also think the pregnancy is fake. tom cruise bought a sonogram machine & she's having the baby at his house, so there are no doctors or nurses to "witness" an actual birth. also tom cruise has been going around town w/ a "fake katie". it's the recent pictures where she has bangs. totally not her.

The argument may have died down for a bit as of late, but I don't think the photos match up, either; I've got a little extra interest in this because I work in media and the majority of us believe that something is not quite right in ToonTown...maybe instead of the old tried and true adoption route he went with Nicole, Tom has to prove his virility this time around? Who knows, and shame on us for caring...she's a war bride with a contract in her little fist, and he's a wacko who will never get another dime of my money for his movies, etc. because of what he pukes about the mentally ill. I doubt his money machine will miss my few bucks here and there, but hopefully down the road he'll recognize the fact that he's always going to be nothing more than an actor - an actor who jumped on couches for Oprah, no less. Can you spell R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Tom? Of course you can't, Sweetie.

I have no idea if Katie Holmes is pregnant or not. Quite frankly I have not been keeping up with her belly size. However, it is completely probable to fake a pregnancy. I used to want to believe that celebrity relationships can be real and I guess they can, but after Bennifer (the first one) I will consider all of them a publicity stunt until proven otherwise. And Tom is just weird enough...Sarah was correct....look into the history of Scientology. All that to say, I am just cynical enough to believe that a celebrity would go as far as faking a pregnancy to keep their name in the paper (especially when they have the resources to pull it off.)Don't feel bad for Katie when they break up. It will keep her name in the paper.

The thing that gets me is that she seems like she's been pregnant with a belly for about seven months now. Gwyneth Paltrow just gave birth and she announced it in January. Granted, she admitted to being further along than most when announced. Still, there is something so fishy about this thing.

Well, look at it this way. It's now April 16th, and she's still pregnant. At the beginning of October (some of the belly pictures) she was AT MOST 10-12 weeks pregnant. NO woman would be showing that much by then, not even those who have had children before. I'm not sure the entire thing is fake, but it MOST certainly was at the beginning.

Looking at recent posts of Ms. Holmes, I am still wondering how she is able to wear button up jeans. I am about her height but a little bit bigger and I had to give those up around week 16. Sure, she could still be wearing low riders, BUT even so, with this whole "she's about to blow" coverage she is getting recently, has no one noticed that the baby hasn't dropped? This is a natural occurance when the baby is about to be born it will begin to "drop" more towards the pelvis, besically making even low riders impossible to wear.
Then we go to the whole Angelina Jolie about to give birth in Africa. Ms. Jolie announced her pregnancy way after Ms. Holmes, so if Angelina is about to give birth and does before Katie, the gig is up.
Yes, I think she is faking.

I think that she may have been pregnant in the beginning (the unitard pic is pretty convincing), but she may have had a miscarriage and is now faking the rest of her pregnancy. I'm also thinking that that is why she has been shut away for awhile... she's getting over her miscarriage.

Actually, I never dropped, even at 41 weeks. Went into labor spontaneously, too. However, I wound up with a c-section. That's why I'd be worried - she's huge, yet a tiny little thing, yet having a home birth? I fear for her health.

hello? it's now mid-april and she's STILL preggers?? and did you see her gliding, graceful as a gazell shoe shopping this past week (yea, 5 days out of last week she's been photographed shoe shopping)? my sister, who announced she was pregnant AFTER katie hade her full term baby 3 weeks ago. do the math folks! ps- most 9 month pregnant woman don't glide - graceful or not.

I remember when the discussion about how far along she was took place this fall. With the belly-button poking out already, people were guessing about five months along. That would puther due date right around (or a couple weeks before) mine. Let's just say that with four-six weeks till the due date now, her tummy should be HUGE. That's not what I was seeing. Hmm. Any current photos out there?

That photo timeline is just deceiving on purpose. If you bother to look on Katie Holmes sites before writing something like that, you would see that from those same days there are pics where the pregnancy is definitively showing. It is all in the angle, clothes and distance from where the pics are taken.
