Burberry baby cologne: for babies who stink
Our sister blog luxist, has reported this story about British designer label Burberry's
attempt to market "baby cologne." According to Saks, this alcohol-free eau de toilette for babies
will allow you to "Celebrate the sense of touch that babies love so much. The enticing essence of sparkling citrus
fruit rind, fresh wild mint and rhubarb jelly is blended with orange blossom petals, jasmine, lily of the valley and
base notes of tree moss, vanilla, plus a drop of milk." Um, okay.
3.3 ounces of this stuff is will set you back about $38, or approximately the cost of 152 oz of Johnson's and Johnson's baby wash. Of course, it's a drop in the bucket compared to what a baby one-piece pajama set in that horribly ubiquitous Burberry plaid will cost you, so $38 to make your baby smell like an nouveau-riche anglophilic orange rind isn't so bad, is it?

I don't see Burberry sending you care packages any time soon :)
