Valentine's Day craft: "stained glass" crayon hearts, courtesy Martha Stewart

I've mentioned before that we have a tradition in our family to make our Valentine gifts -- so, lately, I've been on the hunt for great crafts that I can do with my daughter.  I should've known I could count on Martha Stewart to come up with something fabulous:  these great "stained glass" crayon hearts, made with crayon shavings (which my daughter can make with a hand-held sharpener), and a warm iron (clearly my job).  When finished, they're designed to hang in a window, and bring a love-filled glow into the room.

I think we're going to have to make a ton of these, and hang them Alex's bedroom window.   And if they end up looking as good as this picture, I may never take them down.
