Baby image of the day: holding daddy's hand
Filed under: Just For Dads, Siblings, Playground Bureau, Media

I don't know if it's the same for all of you mamas, but for me, the relationship between my husband and the
boys is the one I agonize over, hoping that it will turn out right in the end - that they will strike the right balance
between discipline and play, that Everett will get over his "I want mama!" and "I don't LIKE daddy right
now!" phases. Photos like this capture how great a good daddy relationship can be, to provide hands when they're
walking, for shoulders to carry them, for that one who's not mommy. It's a yin and yang thing, and it's lovingly
captured here.

It's our (Very) Young Love month on Baby Image of the Day, featuring images of this amazing new love between your family (mom, dad, grandparents, siblings) and the new baby. If you'd like your own child featured here, simply upload photos into our group Flickr pool. We'll select an image every day to highlight. Serena said...I absolutely LOVE pictures taken from behind like this. There just something about kids holding hands and walking down a lane...sidwalk...park...that simply warms the heart.

Especially one as touching as this.
Great choice.

rebecca said...My husband is a HUGE baby daddy, too. (Huge, as in big into being a daddy; not huge, as in a comment on size, although he is 6'4".) I love the pictures of big 'ole men with itty-bitty babies. Makes me all gooshey, too.
