Product recall: Little Tikes flashlights

Little Tikes is recalling it's Glowin' Dino and Glowin' Doggy Animal Flashlights. The light green paint on the
dinosaur and the brown paint on the dog flashlight could contain excessive levels of lead. Lead can be toxic to
children if ingested. These flashlights were only sold at Target and other characters are not included in this recall. The recalled flashlights include these date codes: LC5H161, LC5H291, LC5I031, LC5I091, LC5I131, LC5J061, LC5J231, and LC5J311. Units which have an R at the end of the date code are also not included in this recall.
Little Tikes asks that you take the flashlight away from children and call for a replacement or refund. For more information please visit the Little Tikes website or call (866) 765-6729 anytime.

Seriously, though, this begs the question, how the heck is lead paint still showing up in kids' toys? I see the manufacturing country is China, which doesn't surprise me, but are they still using lead paint in their country? Holy cow!
