Mr. McGroovy offers free plans for building fun stuff from refrigerator boxes, a castle, firetruck or a pirate ship. My son just passed out from the awesomeness.

This is the kind of project my husband could really sink his teeth into. So much so I fear the kids would get bored waiting for him to put the 'finishing touches' on it.

Mr. McGroovy also sells handy rivets for putting your cardboard masterpiece together. The rivets allow you to easily build your toys and take them apart to store. Nice.

Our house is currently in dire need of a new refrigerator and oven, but if you're not getting ready to purchase 8 new appliance anytime soon, the site also offers tips for getting free boxes to complete your project.
