Tom Cruise's latest directing project? Katie Holmes
Filed under: Your Pregnancy, Bump Watch, Celeb Kids, Rumors, Media
Tom Cruise—"following the Scientology tradition of a silent birth" — has had six-foot tall posters (six-freakin'-feet tall, people) placed around his Beverly Hills mansion to remind Katie how to comport herself during labor. US Weekly refers Cruise's latest "directing project" as Mission Impossible 4.
One of the posters allegedly reads: “Be silent and make all physical movements slow and understandable…”
Just so we're all on the same page, were talking about a person (Tom Cruise) who believes that an evil alien overlord named Xenu "brought billions of frozen people to Earth 75 million years ago, stacked them around volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs." Their souls then attached themselves to living human bodies, and "they are the root of many problems today." Problems that only Scientology can solve.
I'm sorry, but would you let this foolio tell you how to birth your baby?
Free Katie!

My husband knew my wishes for birth, and was comfortable with them. I wouldn't want to have a birth plan we weren't both cool with. We discussed it ad nauseaum before hand, and he knew my expectations. At the end of the day, I had veto.

Ms Sisyphus said...Also from CHILD DIANETICS by LRH, "A grandparent may not be permitted into the home of the children until they learn how to behave themselves
dianetically"
Translated this means Katie's parents will not be invovled as normal grandparents until they convert.
I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe it just means that Garandparents--or anyone who is to have a meaningful role in the child's life--need to act respectfully towards the beliefs and practices in which the child is being raised. And barring an abusive situation, isn't that what most people expect when the Grands visit?

Laura Snow said...also wanted to comment on the grandparents thing. It could also mean that if they don't convert, they can't come into the home but perhaps the child can visit the grandparents' homes?

They're happy. They're not hurting anyone. Get over it.

But when he was a kid, he shuted his trap, if I am correct because of his 'strangely violent vagabond' dad and the St francis seminary and the fear to miss a step to the class. I've heard these stories about this school.

I have had 5 children, with an epidural, with "pain killers" and "au natural". I have to admit I did alot of moaning, but did not scream, even "couched" another gal while we were both in the labor room. I was confused with the epidural, didn't know which muscles I was using. I look back on it and prefer the natural births with no drugs. Concerning Tom Cruise; he was a favorite movie star of mine, now I think of him and its just gross! I wonder what got into Katie Holmes' mind. She made a statement a while back about being "virginal" til she married, didn't she? Why make those statements (check the time frame) if you give in so easily? So she had a crush on him when she was 12, didn't we all have a crush on him at one point or another? And the crazy statements they have made in public? She says, "Tom and I will always be in our newlywed phase". There are statements made out of love, and statements made out of lust.....Tom acting like he's 12 and its going to last forever...come on....He is in his 40's and "couch jumping"...."I'm not going to let woman get away"....that is more like a "stalkers statement". I suppose if he successfully brainwashes Katie, well it might work...forever. The good thing is that Tom and Nicole have set a great example of how NOT to put your children in your divorce. They are great parents!

EllRon made his 'technologies' into a religion purely for tax-exempt $tatus in the U.S. Check 'em out. Watch the South Park episodes . . . beware.
