Melania Trump: giving birth was "easy"
Filed under: Your Pregnancy, Bump Watch, Celeb Kids, Life & Style
It's only been two weeks since the birth of little
Barron William Trump, but Melania Trump is already making the talk show rounds discussing what it's like to be a new
mother. Trump told the women on The View that the whole birth experience was "great." She said the
birth was was "very, very easy." Joy Behar asked whether Melania had an epidural, and she replied, "Of course."
Melania says that the Donald is an "active father" who gets up with Barron in the morning and "watch(es) TV and read(s) the newspaper with him in the couple's bedroom." But when little Barron has poopy pants, Melania admits, "It's time to see Mommy."

Which essencially means that 'Mommy' pages the Baby Nurse. Sorry to sound so cynical, but I've seen these types of parents in action. The baby's great when he's clean and changed, but the second that changes then in comes the Baby Nurse to whisk him away. This doesn't mean they won't be good parents, just that they follow a different set of rules.

She has oodles of money, but still may enjoy soothing a fussy child to giggles or making a cute baby tush clean and dry. I read The Nanny Diaries, but still can't believe all women with money are "Baby Nurse" kind of moms.

Bonnie said...All women with money aren't the Baby Nurse types. However she's got a full time job keeping him interested, and lets face it he has a history of straying. So she's not likely to risk ruining her manicure by wiping away poo when she's paying someone else to complete the task. It leaves her more time to devote to Donald.

Bonnie said...I can't say for sure, but having worked for a number of years in the field it's common for pregnant mums to have the baby nurses booked around their due dates. It's more common to have more than one Nanny than it is to have more than one Baby Nurse as Baby Nurses tend to be more 'my way or the highway' types. I worked with one where I had to ask permission to hold the baby which I found really weird but whatever.
To be fair to them though they normally work 24/6, so it's possible that if the family had the money they would hire someone to help out on their day off. They also make a s#@t load of money. $350 a day and up for just one child. http://katiefaceyagency.com/
I thought about switching over, but though I love working with newborns I felt I would quickly burn out working those hours. It's one thing when its your own child, but when it's someone elses you need a break.
