Pediatric oncologist blogs
Categories: Places To Go, Playground Bureau, Media
I saw this on Metafilter yesterday and wasn't sure how it fit at Blogging Baby, but
after I read this post I felt somehow comforted knowing a pediatric oncologist cares this much about his patients.
Enough to think about them after the fact.Jason Levine is a physician completing a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology in Boston, Massachussets. He writes about checking on his young patients through websites their parents have set up to stay in touch with family and friends while they go through cancer treatment with their children.
He share a cute story from one patient which had him "laughing so hard he was crying". We've met some pretty robotic pediatric specialists with the bedside manner of a box. A doctor who laughs? I don't believe it. I think you'll enjoy the story, so go take a look.
