Ewan McGregor adopts a daughter from Mongolia

Ewan McGregor and his wife, Eve Mavrakis, have adopted
a four-year-old girl from Mongolia. Their new daughter joins sisters Esther, 4, and Clara, 1.People Magazine reports that in 2004, "McGregor and best friend Charley Boorman spent three months on a globe-spanning 20,000-mile motorcycle odyssey for the Bravo TV series Long Way Round. Mongolia was one of the stops on their journey."
McGregor and his wife have been married since 1995.

Missy said...Oh, that man is so beautiful! I loved the "Long Way 'Round" series that he did with Charlie Boorman. That's probably why they're adopting from Mongolia...in the book and the series, he mentioned falling in love with the country and the people.

Stacy said...His kids are not 4 and 1, they are like 10 and 5! And they are his biological daughters. And if you haven't seen "Long Way Round" I highly recommend it, you will see the little girl in that show as he met her in 2004 while riding his motorcycle through Mongolia :)
