We talked about Mamapalooza last year and it's back again. Mamapalooza is an annual concert event started in 2002 by Joy Rose, lead singer of the band Housewives on Prozac, as a showcase for mom rockers. The first event was in New York City and featured a handful of mom-musicians.

Mamapalooza is now an event in 30 cities, in Illinois, New York and even my little town, Royal Oak. All the events happen in early May, starting with the Royal Oak event on May 5th. We've talked about the Candy Band and the Mydols at Blogging Baby in the past.
