"Sherman the frog meets the snow princess"

The blogosphere is abounding with talented artists and inspiring writers. And I'm always happy when one of them is uncovered and gets to flower among the greatest.
Elayna Flodin illustrated the children's book "Sherman the frog meets the snow princess", the story of a frog who wishes to see snow and a snow princess who hears all winter wishes, her vivid colors bringing Sherman and his friends enchantingly to life. She also blogs at Pseudoarthrosis, a rare bone disease she was diagnosed with when she was two and resulting in over 20 surgeries and daily chronic pain. Today she uses a bright pink wheelchair to assist her for long distance.
With her husband, Elayna has decided to take Sherman the Frogs dream a bit further and both have opened a new nonprofit organization, Imagination Exchange International, teaching children how the arts can arm them to overcome any obstacle and transform their world.
