I do not know why many parents are so bothered about their kids pulling off their socks. Instead of buying this kind of socks I would prefer to treat children with more affection & tryto convince them.

How hard would it be to sew a ribbon loop onto your childs socks, and it would certainly be cheaper than $8 a pair. I'm not suggesting that you sell them however, that would violate the patent.

How exactly does the snap work? Does there have to be a corresponding snap on the child's clothing? Is there a hole for the loop to pass through on baby pants?

I bought some socks in Australia that I swear don't come off. They are by Bonds. They stay on all night and day. It is amazing. They aren't anything special (they sell them at Target), but I haven't seen them in the states.
That being said, I might be more of a hillbilly then I thought, but if it is warm, i don't put socks on my baby. I never knew having a barefooted baby was frowned upon until i read dooce and then this. Oh well, you take the girl out of yellville....

This just smacks of something that can be pulled off & choke a baby and will be featured in next year's "Parents Magazine's 10 Most Dangerous."
Besides, what in the world is cuter than a baby hanging in a baby carrier with one sock and one bare foot?
