SHE DOES LOOK DEPRESSED AND EXHAUSTED. IT'S A SAD IRONY AFTER WHAT TOM SAID ABOUT BROOKE SHIELDS. I JUST HOPE HE IS THERE FOR KATIE IF SHE NEEDS THE HELP. IT SEEMS AS IF HE IS ON ALL THE TALK SHOWS PROMOTING HIS NEW MOVIE WHEN SHE NEEDS HIM THE MOST!

To Alane Tucker about Kate not grinning from ear to ear... you obviously have never had a baby! I was grinning and happy as could be when I was preggo's, too, but you haven't a clue as to how exhausting it is when your body has been stretched all out, been pushing out a baby, and been kept up all night (and all day) since. It wasn't until my son started sleeping a straight 5 hours a night that I even resembled a human being again. I looked like a zombie, and I have the pics to prove it. I think it's refreshing to see a pretty young woman look like all of us "normal" people after such an ordeal. I'm so sick of seeing all these phonies that are back in their size 0 jeans a week after giving birth... give me a break! Guess when you have personal trainers living at your house, you can do that. And kudos to her for breastfeeding! This is the most I've ever liked her. I'm even starting to hate Tom a little less, just because this pic proves that he must really love her and that she's not just some eye candy. If he REALLY wanted to be a jerk, he would never let her out of the house looking like a tired 'ol mom, right? He'd be demanding that she be fitting into her size 0 jeans and looking ready for a walk down the runway. OK... stepping of my soapbox now.. lol

It's an honest mistake for a tired new Mommy. But if her nursing bra has been left open & unhooked, then there's nothing to hold her the nursing pad, a total necessity to catch those inevitable and unexpected milk leaks. I hope she didn't have an even more embarassing moment in that white top later on...

As a mother, grandmother, former teacher and childcare director, if I ever saw a face that cries out, "What in the world have I gotten myself into and how am I ever going to get loose?", this one is it. She is obviously close to tears. I only hope her parents will stand by her and help her!

If ya ask me, Kate looks 10 yrs older than BEFORE she had the baby (in that pic anyway). My opinion is leave them both alone, everyone deserves a LITTLE privacy, even weirdos and their g/f (even tho she's young enuff to b his kid..ewwww)

I feel so sorry for Katie. Even if she does have post-partum she couldn't go to Tom. He is an idot. The whole family lives in the same house, Katie probably doesn't have the privacy to nurse and bond with her baby. They more than likely tell her how she's feeling and what to do. I hope not for her sake. Take the baby and run Katie.

I think Kate is great. Who cares about the little "slip up?" All Mom's have been there before. After I had my son, I didn't have any bra's that fit. I had to go to Walmart, with NO BRA and try to find one that fit. Then I stopped and picked up my pictures, that I had developed while I shopped and made the mistake of looking at them in the store, instead of waiting until I got at least out in the truck. You mom's know when you are breast feeding, if you think about your baby...hello milk. Well, the pictures were of my cute little guy and you guessed it! No bra.....so no pads to soak it up. It was NOT funny then, but now I can laugh about it!! Kate looks tired, but hey, who wouldn't after taking care of an infant, being a new mom on top of it and not knowing exactly what to do all the time. It's the most tough and the most rewarding job I know I'll ever have. My son is now 4 and he survived, so I must of done something right.

Everyone should lay off this couple. All new mothers are tired at first. And why does everyone HATE to see famous couple happy. Are we so jealous that we can't stand to see them happy. Yes, Tom is happy and I don't agree with him on post partum. But I do see his point on drugging our kids with Ritalin. We over prescribe and then end up with addicts in the future. Open your eyes all you critical morons.

Not everyone hires people to take care of their kids...Katie has always seemed down to earth and the type to do her own raising..not pay someone else to.

Leave her alone! Don't judge how she looks or that the baby may be hungry again soon. Although she is currently attached to Tom, she is not responsible for his statements.

I think Katie looks great after two weeks--I think it is wonderful how much affection Tom shows towards Katie. Just because he is extremely open about how crazy he is for her doesn't mean he's wacko--Every woman wants to be loved that much---give them a break!

Nobody I ever knew could look like that in a pair of jeans 2 weeks after giving birth. That bra was a put-on....Like some others have said, I don't believe she even had a baby. If they have one now, it's because they "bought" one.

Looking at Katie I remember how I felt two weeks after the birth of my son. He just turned the darling age of 21 the other day. I am so glad that I was not being dogged by the press everywhere I went. Nor for the colic filled four months after. It must be rough having a new born and a ditz of a man to contend with.

If and I mean IF Katie Holmes had Tom Cruises biological baby I pity the life this poor woman has in store for her. He is such an egomaniac and his views on life are so out there that even if he treats her kindly the media are going to make life hell for her. He needs to shut his mouth and stay home and out of the spot light to give people a chance to foget what a moron he has been this last year. If he doesn't poor Katie will be miserable. Should we all be surprised that she looks tired, just like most real woman do after two weeks...
But I do agree with a comment about is this Tom's baby... I too recall the same information that *Marcie* wrote about. Tom and Mimi divorced because of his inability to have a child. She also confirmed this later herself in a statement. I am trying to locate that information now. Then his next marriage was adoption only too. But in the end I don't really care. Everyone can be happy regardless of how the baby was brought into the world.

Absolutely no way would it go unnoticed in advance... for Katie to walk outside her living quarters with a nursing bra showing? RIGHT! Very simply....I agree...it is fake fake fake...just like everything Tom Cruise gets his hands on. Keep the name you have always had, Katie Holmes! No amount of money can be worth the mental agony you will endure from the first encounter with a Cruise. Run Katie, run.
