Parent meditation book, stories of everyday

Categories: Just For Moms

As much as most of would love to have a picturesque life with ideal, well behaved kids, a clean and orderly house and balanced meals for every dinner, it is not too likely to happen. The reality is that our lives are filled with chaos, mess, stickiness, forgotten bills, sibling squabbles and scary foreign substances that lurk under the seats of our cars. Robyn Lynn  Pratt has compiled a bunch of her essays into her book, Take Ten: Meditations for the Harried Parent. Most of her stories have appeared in print in various publications around the nation.

Pratt's essays capture the quiet moments a parent experiences amongst all the surrounding turmoil.  For many of us ten minutes is a luxury we rarely afford ourselves. To find those times, hold them dear and take a moment to read Robyn's book would be a wonderful opportunity. For more, visit her site.
