Blogging Baby Time Warp: Our best posts from a year ago

Categories: Pregnancy & Birth, Health & Safety, Development

It's Wednesday night and I have a couple of great stories from this week last year at Blogging Baby to share with you all:

  • This week last year, Kimberly Robinson and Jeanne LoCicero's daughter, Vivian Ryan LoCicero, was born April 30 after Robinson was inseminated using sperm from an anonymous donor. Both moms, who were registered as domestic partners in 2003, were listed as mothers on the birth certificate, giving LoCicero the same parental rights as if she had adopted Vivian.
  • This week last year, Thomas E. Jones Jr. of Indiana and his soon-to-be-ex wife both agreed that their child will be raised within the structure of Wicca, a polytheistic Pagan faith that emphasizes the existence and equality of both a Goddess and a God, and encourages respect for Mother Earth but their judge, Cale J. Bradford put a line in their divorce decree stating that they were forbidden from raising their child in the Wiccan faith.
  • Dale and Darren Chalk, who had welcomed quadruplets in 2004, announced that they were pregnant with quadruplets again. The couple also have a two-year-old daughter which means that they will have nine children under the age of three when the second quadruplets are born. And I worry about having another set of twins.
  • And it's been a year now, that Tom Cruise has declared a public war on psychiatrists, stating that they are ruinning our children.
