Blogging Baby sleepover for Friday June 16
Filed under: Playground Bureau
One of the tasks of my weekly blog round up is trawling the web to find new parenting blog gems. I enjoy this job enormously, but it's difficult because there are so many amazing stories out there, and I am just beginning to realize there are whole other blog Universes outside of my daily Bloglines list.I have recently discovered three new reads (new for me, anyway, it's obvious they have established readerships) and I'm enjoying them enormously.
Mama Tulip describes her ear infection with such great vigour that my ear is pulsating as I write this. Her tagline asks "Where am I going? And why am I in this handbasket?" I love her for her tagline alone.
Girls Gone Child is always witty and always cheeky. Her newest entry illustrates a unique facet of LA life and you'll have to read it to find out what it is.
Cheeky Lotus is one of those blogs that I found and consumed with marvel, wondering, why haven't I ever found her before? In her hilarious entry yesterday, she talks about her uncomfortable visit with the doctor and her unusual allergy to the sun.(I am also allergic to the sun! I adore her even more!)
I'm also taking suggestions - what are some of your favourite blogs? I'm always looking to discover some new gems.

Elizabeth said...I like to go to google and look up mommy blogs or some other phrase and search through each site I find listed. In those sites are many links to other blogs by mothers or soon to be mothers and I find my self spending hours surfing around and end up forgeting how I got to a particular place (it is how I found this site). I am a soon to be mom (26 weeks along) and have just started blogging and find it helpful to read others stories.
