Three million not enough for baby Suri?

I've seen this floating around on the online gossip rags in the past few days, but now it's creeping in from more accredited news sources (There was also a discussion about this in my post about Jack Black's baby yesterday, he can't seem to get away from all the White Teeth moguls.)Rumour has it that the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes baby pictures were offered for auction to the media, but when none of the bidders would cough up more than three million dollars, the offer was rescinded.
A "source" says "Shiloh was the whole deal", insinuating, I fear, that TomKitten is not.
This all seems a little suspect to me. Three million is an awful lot of money and neither Tom nor Katie are hurting for dollars. I wonder if they wanted a specific dollar for a charity? Or were merely wounded that Suri wasn't deemed as "worthy" as Shiloh? Or perhaps it's a slow news day.
Still, I am awfully curious to see a picture of Suri.

LOL thordora. Maybe this is their way of explaining why we haven't seen any pictures of their baby. Ya know, since there isn't really confirmation that there ever WAS one.

My theory is that the baby was chris klein's and since she was with Tom at the time he jumped at the chance to say he conceived a biological child. Remember at the end of her pregnancy it was very very fake looking but there was proof she was really pregnant and early on she looked like 5 mos or so! I think the baby is in hiding so that it's not so obvious it's a couple months older than they claim.
As for the money.. hmmm sounds fishy to me because Shiloh was born way after Suri. Tom specifically waited for Shiloh to be born to see how much she went for? Such prostitutes they all are.. meh..
