Thursday night daddyblogger roundup
Categories: Just For Dads
Just a few links to what some blogging fathers wrote this week:
JGS over at Two Opakis appreciates a hidden benefit of sending your kids to summer camp. In his words, camp was, "the first external judgment or assessment of our parenting. We've spent 3.5 years doing the best we can, but having no idea if what we were doing was good." JGS also writes an article confronting the myth that good dads don't really matter in early childrearing.
Mr. Nice Guy's Nanny pulls a Mr. Nice Guy.
Briantologist of Byrne Unit finally writes something mushy about his kid. Jesus, it's about time. I was beginning to think the snark had eradicated all traces of sentimentality in those two. But don't worry, it's still a Briantologist kind of mushy.
Pirate Papa proves who's the king of the hippie parenting blogosphere. So lay off me, people.
Enough with the celebrity moms, already. Genuine begins profiling celebrity dads. And not the ones you'd think. This week: that guy who played Puddy on Seinfeld.
Zygote Daddy's Danish mother who lives in Copenhagen picks him up a high chair/desk/"medieval torture" device for her grandchild-to-be that is too awesome for words. I am so sick of the Scandinavians getting everything cool, and the rest of us getting stuck with stuff from Swedish Wal-Mart.

I kind of resent that but thanks for the shout out. My parents were hippies. Now hippies are kids who go to Phish shows and eat lots of drugs. Never done the former, don't do the latter any more.
Nice site!
