I want a strollometer!

Categories: Places to go, Baby essentials

Back before I had babies, I used to run. I enjoyed running, it felt good. Then, enter breastfeeding and "my two friends." Let's just say that running is pretty impossible during this period in my life.

So, when I have the chance, we go out walking, pushing the kids in a double jogging stroller. It always seems that my husband is asking me how long a certain walk on the pathway is. "Uh, 1.2 miles," I say, remembering that I used to run this same path during my cross-country years. "That sounds about right."

Now, I will not have to guess any longer. Here's a Strollometer that is designed to fit on any type of stroller, whether it be jogging or a "regular" one. (I will ignore the part of the product description that says "This 8 function wireless marvel gives Moms the information they need to get the most out of every stroll." What? Do Dads not also enjoy knowing how far they walked? In fact, it is safe to say that my husband is the one who asks this question the most.

It is not available until September, but I definitely plan on putting this on my wish list. At least I'll be able to walk without the "how far do you think this is" guessing game.
