Nine months in twenty seconds
Categories: Pregnancy & birth, Media, Gadgets & tech, That's entertainment
You've got a camera and nine months to wait around. You're not in Egypt and you don't have an auditorium, so what do you do? I know! You take a picture of your wife every other day and string them together into a twenty-second animation showing the growth of your baby (and your wife's stomach). And, it even has a happy ending. I give it two thumbs up. Only, I sure wish I had thought of it.I did take a couple of photos of Rachel's stomach when she was pregnant with Sara, but she won't let me show them to anyone. Did you do anything like this to commemorate your pregnancy? Would you do it if you got pregnant again?

That is so clever! I just told my husband this morning how we were so good about getting so many pictures of my pregnancy the first go 'round...and here I am 2 months away from delivering my second and have ZERO pictures....poor kid, hopefully this trend doesn't continue once she's born!! :)

Most definitely the coolest links ever!
I would do that in a heartbeat. I regret not having done it now, considering I have about 5 weeks until I'm due!

I didn't get any pics with my first until I was about 2 weeks from delivery. With my second, I took self portrait belly pics every 2-3 weeks. The last one is from about 3 hours before I checked into the hospital. I really wish I had taken more pictures with my first.
That video is very cool.

With Joey we took pics every week starting at 10 weeks. With this one (Ally) we've only taken a couple so far. Now I'm 37 1/2 weeks so we better get snapping!

My husband took pictures of me every week of my pregnancy in the same position, wearing the same clothes. We were going to make an animation of it, but never got around to it. This inspires me to do it!

My last child is now 15, but I remember my husband taking pictures of my belly at various atages in all of my pregnancy. Particularly the just before I left for the hospital. I now have a record of me just before each of them entered the world. It makes for very fond memories.
