Cruise regrets bashing Brooke

In a move that came a couple years too late and way after it was commonly decided that Tom Cruise is crazier than a loon, the actor is expressing regret for lambasting Brooke Sheild's use of anti depressants to combat her post partum depression.Tom's publicist says that he realizes that he "crossed a line" and "That, he deeply regrets."
I am not buying it. I think Tom's attempting damage control in the wake of his breakup with Paramount Pictures and it's not working for me. The other possibility may be that Katie Holmes experienced a titch of post-partum herself, and Tom might realize that it's not exactly that's easily helped with vitamins.
I think he's loopy, and his lame apology is too little, too late.

did he actually apologize? the article on people that is linked doesn't actually indicate anything of the sort - just says a producer he worked with once suspects he feels bad.

Ah, nothing like a nice dose of reality to gain perspective! Tom, just stop, before you lose the remaining shreds of your credibility. That is, if Miss Suri Cruise even exists.

I wonder if Ms. Holmes reads Blogging Baby now that she has her own... If you do Kate, leave him as fast as you can! Thousands, perhaps millions of emotional intelligent people agree he's out of his skull, so don't get trapped in the fantasy you had a child!
