Choose your own adventure books are back
Books are a permanent part of the fabric of my childhood. Certain authors hold chunks of the eighties: Beverly Cleary, Roald Dahl, Judy Blume. My imagination was a rich, vibrant place. I cherished it and books fed it, and even now I keep some of my favourite childhood books on my shelf: the BFG, Ramona Quimby Age 8, and a few tattered Choose Your Own Adventure books.Do you remember Choose Your Own Adventure? They were written in the second person, exciting narratives that ended in a decision that the reader had to make, never knowing where it would take him.
I had thought that the books ceased publishing in the late 1990's. Apparently, they did, but now they're back under a different publisher. I'm so excited!
Chooseco has a list of newer books, and I am giddy just reading some of the story lines. I think reading is one of the greatest joys in life. I can't wait to introduce these to Nolan.

I was going to take a ride to the library this week to see if we could find some. I'm glad they are back! I will have to pick some up from the book store.
