Fun cereals of yesteryear back for Halloween
Categories: Eating & Nutrition
If you're looking for a fun, sugar-filled way to start the morning around Halloween, things have just gotten a bit easier. All the "monster" cereals, such as Boo Berry and Count Chocula, will soon be hitting the store shelves, if they haven't already.
For those of you who need a little variety in your sugar-filled cereal diet, there's also a triple pack of Boo Berry, Count Chocula and Frankenberry available.
I've never been a fan of Boo Berry or his Count friend and you'd be pretty hard-pressed to get me to feed these to my kids, but, for some reason, it is nice to see an old "familiar" face on the store shelves from my childhood.

Yeah, I know the good Count is always on the shelves. Franken Berry is around most of the time, and very rarely can you get Boo Berry.
Count Chocula, for a 3/4 cup serving size, has less calories than a LOT of cereals, like Honey Nut Cheerios and Frosted Flakes.
Now, if they'll only come back with Fruity Yummy Mummy or Fruit Brute.

I see the Count all the time but I don't really pay attention to Boo Berry and FrankenBerry. We buy the fun sugary stuff sometimes but not alot.

I love all three of those....... oh those were he days!!! Now i'm afraid of giving my 3 1/2 year old too much sugar and the watching him bounce off the walls for the next few hours! I think I might actaully buy them any way!!! Love the Franken Berry.
