Daniel Smith's death certificate issued

Although no official cause of death has been determined for Anna Nicole Smith's son, Daneil, a death certificate has been issued to the family. The cause of death will remain blank until toxicology reports are completed. The certificate will allow Smith to bury her son who was just 20 years-old at the time of his death. Smith is not receiving an preferential treatment due to her celebrity status. It is not unusual to issue a certificate when no official cause of death has been determined.Her son's mysterious death is one more bizarre step in Anna Nicole's unusual life. Daniel had mostly shunned the perpetual spotlight that has followed his slow talking mother. She made no secret of her affection for him and he always seemed to shine in her presence. Sudden deaths are especially hard on those left behind. The fact that Anna Nicole has a new baby to help carry her along will likely be of great help to her, but losing her first born at such a young age will always hurt.

Sharon said...I thought I read somewhere that there were heart problems on Daniel's father's side of the family, and that one of those males died fairly young.

Ginny said...I also heard that he had had a heart attack. (From Rosie O'Donnell her first day on The View. ) I was later surprised to find that they hadn't officially stated the cause of death.

Robin said...I think it's really hard to say that her new daughter will help her get along. We don't know that. In fact it's one of those things you simply don't say to a mother who is grieving. Her new daughter won't bring back her son or even replace him. It is totally different.
