Is Tori Spelling creating an unusual necklace?
Actress Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott are so thrilled to be expecting their first child together that Dean has said he'd like to make a necklace out of her home pregnancy test."We still have the pregnancy stick," McDermott is quoted as saying to OK! Magazine. " I'm going to make a necklace out of it!"
While I'm not exactly sure how one would turn a stick you pee on into a necklace (a nice choker, perhaps?) it can't be any weirder than leaving the used pee sticks underneath the bathroom counter, like I did.
How could I throw them away? So what if I peed on them, they told me I was going to have a baby!
Please, make me and Tori feel better. What did you do with your used (positive) pregnancy test sticks? Do you keep them? Trash them? Take pictures? Use them to swirl your coffee in the morning?

Cheri said...I never had a postive one but if I did I would keep it. Someone made a comment that people are crazy to keep something they peed on, well I am going to guess that, that person got pregnant right away and never went threw tons of negative tests.
If I am blessed with a child I will keep the test!

Jennifer Clark said...I don't have my daughter's test stick, but I do have the cath tube the nurse got stuck in my grandson's penis when she was getting a clean check urine sample.
I have it in a plastic baggy, IT WAS PULLED OUT BY A DOCTOR WHEN IT SOFTENED UP THE NEXT DAY AT ANOTHER HOSPITAL....he was 4 years old....

Stephanie said...I never thought once to keep those things. I was in so much shock all 3 times that I threw them away. I feel kinda bad now, I wish that I had them to put in the baby books that I didn't keep up with, lol. I think its great that ya'll kept them but I don't think that I would make a necklace out of a pee stick. That is just to gross for me but it is Hollywood and they get away with some pretty weird stuff. I say each to their own but that is one trend that I don't think that I will follow.

Jennifer Clark said...Maybe I should have a necklace made from the cath tube the a nurse got stuck in my grandson's wee wee that was pulled out 24 hours later by a doctor at another hospital when it softened up.

Heather said...I guess I'm just not too sentimental. When I realized I might be pregnant, I was at work. My husband was in another state where he worked during the week. I walked around with it in my hand for a little bit until I'd convinced myself I really was pregnant and then I threw it away. Didn't even contemplate keeping it....and I'd been trying to get pregnant for 6 years!!!

coolwaters5 said...I saved mine too. I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal about them being peed on, you only pee on the end & then put the little cap back on. Big deal. You probably peed on your baby while you were giving birth & you kept him. ha-ha.
