Elizabeth Edwards meets with San Francisco area MomBloggers

Unless you are fairly new to Blogging Baby, you'll remember Stefania Butler of City Mama. She was invited to meet with Elizabeth Edwards this week in San Francisco, along with a few other local mombloggers. Mrs. Edwards has a new book, Saving Graces, which is about her life as a daughter, wife, lawyer, and mother. It focuses on the power of community, and has been very warmly received; Stefania stayed up 'till 3 a.m. to finish it, and any parent knows what that says right there!
It seems that the thing that struck Stefania, and all the other writers who met Elizabeth Edwards, the most was how real and genuine she was. Stephania says that her book was like one big thank you to all of the people who'd shown her kindness, offered help, and given her inspiration.
Too bad she won't consider running for president!

Hey thanks for writing this up! It was an honor to meet her and I highly recommend her book. It's a quick "weekend read." One quick note: My name is spelled with a "f" instead of a "ph." (No worries, everyone does it.)
