When I was young, my big goal in life was to travel, in my 1959 Land Rover, from the top of Europe to the bottom of Africa and back again, with an extended stay in Botswana and the incredible Kalahari Desert. Then Life happened -- my father, marriage, kids, the whole family thing. That was that.
