Video of the Day: Charlie Brown/Hey Ya Christmas Mashup
Filed under: That's Entertainment
I missed last night's airing of one of my favorite holiday classics, A Charlie Brown Christmas. We listen to Vince Guaraldi's classic soundtrack every year and often call our sad, thin trees Charlie Brown trees. Did any of you make a point of watching it?Peter Feld at Daysitter wrote about the special and then linked to this awesome mashup of the Peanuts gang with Outkast's "Hey Ya" layered over top. I love me some mashups. Who comes up with these ideas? Anyway, this one is particularly good fun. I love the animation of the Peanuts characters dancing. Yeah, we try to mimic that each year too, as well as Charlie Brown's teacher's infamous, "Woh woh woh."
Got a family friendly mashup you want to share? Or an entertaining video that's kid or parent-related? Leave me a link in the comments or via the tips box.
Thanks to Peter for today's video tip!

(I've got it on my MySpace page!!!)
I think it's one of the most well-done of its kind on the 'net.
I hope BB doesn't get a 'cease and desist' letter, as many other sites have gotten. But oh well, it'll just move elsewhere!
Thanks for sharing. I think everyone should get to see it!
