Sexy maternity skivvies?
If you're anything like me, your idea of maternity underwear probably involved the most comfortable bra and panties you could find. Heck, perhaps you had one of those tank tops with a "shelf" bra to keep the girls in check. If that's the case, you might not be interested in Agent Provocateur's new line of maternity lingerie. Yes, that's right. Maternity lingerie. So long, bland maternity bras, hello lacy little numbers that will remind you that you are, in fact, a sex goddess.
"When I was pregnant, it was traumatic with all of those really ugly big white bras I had to put myself in," said a co-founder of Agent Provocateur in regards to starting a lacy maternity line.
Ahh, yes. Traumatic. Those white bras are very traumatic. In fact, I was in therapy for two months due to the Granny Panty Trauma.
Personally, I found the severe (and deep) tear I experienced from my daughter to be traumatic, but I guess a big, gaping wound isn't enough for some people. So, for those of you who still have your libidos (lucky you) and feel like bringing sexy back, the line is slated to launch later this month.

They were the only ones that didn't irritate my healing scar, and they were soft and comfy. And best of all, I was wearing Victoria's Secret right after having my baby!

Thank goodness that someone is catering to a group of adults who will not put up with having to change themselves just because they have had or are pregnant with their 1st, 2nd or 5th child.
If I would have had to tear into a package of Hanes briefs to last me through my pregnancy I would have shot myself.
I would like to see the cost of these self-described sexy undies. If it is outrageous, may I suggest just going the next size up at Victoria's Secret.

I'm inclined to agree with the author. Wearing the less attractive underclothes was far less traumatic than the fear of ripping myself open when I had my first post-partum poop!!!
Then again, I've never had a model's body, so perhaps vanity wasn't as much of a concern for me as for some moms and moms-to-be. I delight in knowing that, so far, my infant daughter doesn't care how fat I am.
