One more reason not to shop at Wal-Mart: cocaine in the toy department

Jesus- Now you have a ton of nerve to use emotional appeal to try to screw Wal-mart... I personally say, hey the coke could be anywhere, it's jsut the dumb drug dealer or coke head ( not dissing drugs) must of jsut forgot it. There more drugs in school then that man. So why not put a picture of an emo kid slicing his wrists open infrot of a local high school?! Thats whats happening, stop trying to bring down my wal-mart, and start paying attention the the real bull thats going on in the world

Do you have any idea how many drugs are passed through our city's streets, store parking lots, SCHOOL parking lots,ect. every single day??? Its called stupidity..for some reason millions of human beings seem to have caught it...this was a mere act of someone being an idioit and trying to be a smarta**. I am thankful that Walmart gives families an opportunity to buy reasonable priced food and clothing...just because you are rolling in the dough and can shop at ritzy little markets certainly does not mean other people aren't in need of a place to shop where they can afford the items! First of all I will say that I do go to Wal*Mart beacuse you can't beat their prices on things such as toiletries. Next,I AM NOT WHITE TRASH!! As so many of you have stated, are the only class of people who shop there. In fact on Long Island, many of the Wal*Mart stores are in affluent upper middle class locations. It does attract a certain class of people, who obviously cannot shop in other places, BUT what's wrong with that? In reference to the cocaine in the cig pack. Well, it could have been some moron shopping who put it down to look at something and completely forgot it on the shelf, OR it could have been a worker who left it there. Either way, thank goodness a child didn't get hold of it! As far as the baby on the floor of the parking lot, I'd be more concerned that her mother named her Juniper!!

So what if Wal-Mart deceives people by making their center-aisle price points the lowest prices in town, but overcharges on most other items? So what if they pay minimum wage? So what if they run some small businesses out of town? Sure it's great to voice our own opinions at times about companies that have overstepped their boundaries and don't do the best job cleaning and maintaining their shelves.. But calling people that shop at Wal-Mart trailer trash and other insulting names? I'm sorry, I don't see how that is relevent to this article. If you don't like it, that's fine by me. Don't insult people who live in towns where the biggest source of employment is a Wal-Mart and can only afford Wal-Mart items. Most things are a blessing as well as a curse, and I consider Wal-Mart to be one also.

First off - that stuff is very expensive and NO ONE would just leave it there so some kid could find it.
Secondly......if my kid was that damn ugly I wouldn't post her picture on the internet. Such a lovely photo, a crying, screaming, spoiled brat acting up because she didn't get what she wanted. Ah such are the scenes all over the malls and stores. Ruins shopping for everyone.

im start off by saying that i hate walmart im not a fan! but maybe if they actually did their job at walmart someone would have found it i been in there a few times and you can never find and employee! thank God someone found it before a child did! also that was horrible to leave your child sitting in the parkinglot like that ppl cant fu**ing drive for s**t!!!!!!!!!

Yes, of course, you're right. That is nasty Wal-Mart's problem that some drug head decided to stash their cocaine on a Toy Department shelf so he/she/it would not get caught with it. Perhaps Wal-Mart, and every other business needs to invest in the body scan equipment being assessed by airports. All I can say is, "If you don't like Wal-Mart, DON'T shop there. You have other choices of places to shop and the free will to choose. Use it."

I refuse to walk into Walmart or any store associated with them. They have brought the local ecomomies down with their stores. They treat their employees terribly and stand for everything that hard working Americans should believe in. I can't understand why anyone would shop there. You are only allowing them to put the burden of all of their part time, minimum wage employees health care on US. Who do you think pays for them? Wake Up America! You step over a dollar to pick up a dime. Big savings, eh?

Please.....start looking at the majority of the items that we buy. I dont care if you purchase it from Walmart, Target, or any of the other "stores". You will be pressed to find one major chain store that sells 100% "American made" products. Do some digging and see what percentages of "American" automobiles are "100% Made in America". You might be in for a shock.

American companies are out to make a buck and they will buy it or outsource it to the lowest bidder....period. Look at all the people on Ebay trying to get that great deal. The cheaper the product = the more you will sell. The consumer get a good price and the store makes a profit. It's the "American way"!

I personally would rather shop at Wal-mart than the mall, too many rapes go unreported at the Mall due to getting BAD PUBLICITY. Plus, prices are much better at Wal-mart. By the way, I am not WHITE TRASH, I am a single that works a 40+ hour a week job to support my family, because their father wont. Everyone every where anyway is trying to survive in this world, just because some idiot put his LIVING on a shelf does not make it a choice for wal-mart...but it was the persons choice to put their baby in the parking lot to take a picture...so who is white trash now?....Sometimes people need to remember their morals and what parenting is really supposed to be like and not worry about who put what drug where and not to shop there due to it being white trash store or drug infested...GET A LIFE!!

I feel sorry about the people who have nothing better to do with their time but try and tear down someone or something else. If you are upset about the wages or benfits at Wal-mart DO NOT WORK THERE it is just that simple I work at a Wal-mart and I did start out at a low wage but I go to work everyday and work hard and now I make just about what my husband does at a factory. Every company starts people out at the lowest wage possible and go from there. If you are that unhappy about what you make at Wal-mart look at the way you do your job and you just may see why they only pay you that low wage. If you are still not happy go out in the REAL WORLD and find a different job. As for the "COKE" yes it worries me that it was found anywhere there are kids but how can you just blame the company or it employees? May it was a customer and alot of people use drugs not just "white trash".

YES IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED ANYWHERE. IM GUESSING IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WALMART OR ITS EMPLOYEE'S. MY GUESS IT WAS A DEAL GONE BAD.
