Awesome Christmas present: the Truffle Snuffle from Haba
Filed under: Activities: Babies, Toys
Okay, I'll admit I was attracted to the name of this game because at first I thought it was the Truffle Shuffle, which itself would make for an awesome party game. No this is the Truffle Snuffle, or the "Truffel Schnuffel" in its native Germany, and this two-to-four-player game involves wearing a pig's nose and trying to pick up magnetic mushrooms and "sliding them into the mushroom case." According to its manufacturer, "this is easier said than done as not every mushroom is the right one and times slips by!" Holy crap, I want my kids to play this game. Does Haba make an Easy-Bake Tarte de Pommes a la Normande? What about Hungry Hungry Roast Suckling Pigs? Or a game where the players avoid Interpol while smuggling Beluga caviar from the Caspian Sea?I can't figure out how this game involves "48 problem cards." How many problems can a truffle-sniffing boar really have? A lot, I suppose.
Thanks to the Angus Index for pointing this one out.
