Happy New Year, everyone! The blogsphere is awash with people looking back, looking forward, and making resolutions. And, in that spirit, our weekly daddy blog round-up has a festive focus.

Jon Amrstrong at Blurbomat remembers great friends and great trips from 2006, and looks forward to a 2007 with fewer legal problems. For those who don't know, John is married to Heather Armstrong (Dooce), who was in quite the legal debacle this past fall.

Daddy Forever, a new read for me, laments the downers of 2006, including his wife's sex change operation 2 days before Christmas (I can't tell if he's being serious or not).

Spain Dad, another blog I aimlessly stumbled upon after Googling "daddy blogs," chronicle's his kids' New Years resolutions, which include "play all the time every day," and "share more love."

In my house, New Years passed, and we barely noticed. But at least we had a kick ass Christmas.
